details, tips, and answers

Getting started is always the hardest part, right? Let's simplify things by getting you organized and ready to go! I recommend bookmarking:

  1. Client Lounge
  2. Client Portal
  3. Catalog Booking Page

step 01: BOOKMARK YOUR LINKS

Now that you have your links saved, it's time to add your catalogs to the calendar. The booking page is where you'll schedule all of your wedding dates and pay your deposit. You'll want to do this right after signing your contract, and throughout the season as you add new dates.

Overwhelmed by all of the tech stuff? It's never been my favorite part either. That's why I created videos for every aspect of Lightroom that you'll need to know. I walk you through step by step, so that you can get started with confidence. Not a visual learner? No worries, I've got you covered with PDF guides as well.

Eek, you're officially ready to get started! All of that prep work has led you to this moment, it's time to send over that first catalog. Want to email over some individual notes with each catalog? Feel free, every bit of information is helpful!

step 05: SEND YOUR FIRST CATALOG

Have some feedback you'd like to provide about your first wedding? Please, do so! And the more detailed the better. It takes a few catalogs to get into our groove of working together, and every piece of feedback (no matter how small!) is an opportunity to learn.

We're officially on a roll, now it's time for you to sit back, relax and soak up ALL of those perks of outsourcing that you knew were sure to come!

Enjoy!

step 07: ENJOY THE PROCESS

Maybe the most important step in all of this - you can never provide too much feedback! Every detail matters, especially when first getting started.

feedback is a priority

Each individual wedding is always a bit different. Putting time into consistent reference edits will allow me to provide you with a high quality experience.

reference edits matter

I had you bookmark a few links, but truly any form of organization on your end will be SO important to this process. I want you to feel lighter, not overwhelmed.

ORGANIZATION IS KEY

key things to remember:

there is a past version of yourself that is so proud of how far you've come.

All deposits are non-refundable. But if you simply need to change a wedding date, no worries! We can apply your deposit to a newly scheduled date within the same calendar year.

06. what if i have a wedding i decide not to send?

I highly recommend setting up a Zapier e-mail notification so that you are alerted anytime new files are in Dropbox! Check out the Trainings page to find a tutorial video.

05. How do I know if I have a catalog in dropbox?

When you check on your booked catalogs in the client portal, you'll also see a Status beside each date. This status will change from "scheduled" to "in-progress" and then "completed." Feel free to check your status any time!

04. how do i know if you've started my wedding?

You can find all of your scheduled catalogs in the Client Portal. All booked catalogs will appear with a status of "Scheduled."

03. where can i see what i've already booked?

I will send an invoice once I’ve opened your catalog, and it is due in 7 days. This allows you to view your invoice and make sure that it’s correct before I get started.

02. how does invoicing work?

There are several times to book catalogs - 1. Immediately after signing your contract 2. At the start of a new season 3. As you book new weddings throughout the year.

01. when should i book my catalogs?
